FAQ – Does the tenant have to be personally served with the Notice of Landlord?

No, the landlord does not have to personally serve the tenant with the Notice of Landlord. The landlord could post the Notice of Landlord in one of the common areas of the building instead of serving it. Many landlords also provide the Notice of Landlord as part of the lease, instead of as a separate document.
