Inspection ReportAfter the inspections at the beginning and the end of the tenancy, your landlord must give you a written report of the inspection immediately. The report will describe the condition of the property. If you disagree with anything on the form, the items should be clearly marked as a record. Written reports can also be completed after any extra inspections that you and your landlord agree to, but these are not required by law. Certain statements must be included in the report to account for what took place at the inspection. Your local Landlord and Tenant Advisory Board usually has a standard inspection form which you or your landlord can get. May 2005 |
